That makes a lot of sense. My company was actually doing an addition at the Chicago assembly campus when shit started to hit the fan. They let us stay and finish our work while the plant was shut down. I believe I saw somewhere that construction was not deemed essential in Michigan from friends who live there now (I

That makes sense. I should have clarified as well that while the office is technically closed, the shop is still open and making deliveries to job sites, and most project managers are in the office for a few hours at least once or twice a week.

Very interesting. Like I said, offices are cleared to return starting next week, but the vast majority are choosing not to until later. My company was actually doing work at the Ford plant that’s started and shutdown however many times now, and we had an outbreak on another jobsite downstate.

I’m curious, what business are you in that is letting you go back to the office? I work for a commercial electrician (deemed essential) in Illinois and our office staff are going to keep working from home even though the state said we can return next week. That’s for a small office of 20 people in the suburbs.

Got a question, and would appreciate an honest response.

As an electrical contractor who installs Tesla supercharging stations - Here fucking here. Putting Charging posts in city parking garage/lots would be a fraction of whatever it is to find somewhere to put distribution equipment/ superchraging cabinets for street parking and tear up the street to get to those things.

Haha no problem. Telling me to reconsider myself as a reputable source seemed a bit odd, then I figured it out.

Yeah, I was little weirded-out that he pulled out a weeks-old comment. I mean, I get we are all kinda trapped at the moment but sheesh, when something online drives you that nuts, find something else to do.

Well, that was little more political than I expected this to get, but yeah, screw that guy. I’ll stand by my original point that the blogs that just tell stories read TONS better than something that is written to a slant. For example:

I think for this critique to make sense, you would need to point out an instance where the OP claimed that the facts in the vetted journalism were fake news. The issue is not that he disagrees with the anti-automobile or anti-capitalist snark, its that beating those dead horses at this point is just lazy, and

Just when I think David is the most insane person on earth, here comes BOB the pilot who literally wants to BUY one of DT’s rusty jeeps that doesn’t even have a fully assembled engine that OH BY THE WAY is only in pieces because it got waterlogged the last time it was moving under its own power.

Yeah, I’ve seen a lot of people who are correct side of the social distancing argument, but also claim it feels a little gross that governments are obstructing public places. Which, I mean, yeah, #FREEDOM!!!!!1!11, but nobody is going to adhere to a “soft” opening of public places. The second they give an inch, people

Heck, it could mean doing it right if that’s what your into!

Oh, if you can get into FS, then you’ll definitely get deep into ETS2. Happy Trucking!

Fair point! It’s actually been very interesting reading about the changes at Amtrak the last couple years. It sounds like they are actually getting close to being profitable, but only at the expense of people who are fans of trains. Which is acceptable tradeoff to not have 20th century level national rail service.

Hey, the USPS functions well, it just loses money, which is ok for an essential service like itself.

It’s definitely worth it if you have any type of controller or wheel ready to be plugged in. I would get it now, then wait till the steam summer sale to load up on the DLC’s on the cheap. The base game should have no problem holding you over for a month (but idk for how much longer).

Semi-Related: I’ve gotten back into Euro Truck Simulator 2 the last few weeks, and fuck me, I forgot how much that game rules. Been putting in at least a couple hours on my G29 every night.

If by “it” you mean the entire earth, then I’m down.
