4th: LMAO, Dodge makes the only decently good looking truck and its the most successful with people who aren’t religiously attached to a brand (predominantly people north of 40) want.

God damn, this is the fucking content I am here for.

Exactly. This is far less feasible for a racing series than it is for basketball teams. Especially the international series’ like F1 and & WEC

Lol, precisely. I’m not a Roganite, but I appreciate the old adage about “giving people enough rope to hang themselves.”

The point was moreso that he was expecting more intelligent input and questioning from people whose job it is decipher that uncertainty.

Now playing

Tesla is probably the best exercise in how goddam stupid the stock market *can* be. I know he isn’t popular around most of Kinja, but Joe Rogan had a medical expert on earlier this week who addressed high ranking staff at financial institutions earleir this month. He described the discourse he had with them as “talkin

Of course I knew that. Forgive me for thinking a guy running a gazillion dollar company that produces and sells the majority of its product in the U.S. should probably know the five basic regions, regardless of where he is from. Let alone getting the name right for an area he is thinking of beginning new production.

Yeah, and its hilariously on-brand for Musk. Using made up names for geographical regions east of Nevada is so Silicon Valley Tech-startup it hurts.

Again, I think the issue would be price. For the time being, everything that is electric needs to be somewhat weird or luxurious in order to be expensive to be worth the investment by the manufacturer.

Indeed, different strokes for different folks. I can certainly appreciate stuff that is clean and original, but stuff you can mess with: A. Gets driven more (which should be the whole point) and B. Stays fun for longer.

Excellent point, and I’m sure the Vette is beautiful. I definitely appreciate something that is original and in good shape. To me though, something you can jag around with just stays fun for longer.

Sounds reasonable. I haven’t ever seen anyone do anything insane with a Windsor the way I know they do with Chevy 350's. I’d be more concerned about the current drivetrain already having 70k miles on it because at that point, a car from 1973 is 70% dead.

Reading this immediately gave me a vision of a piston ejecting itself straight out of the hood and into the stratosphere.

so if you can’t get the Chevy models for a comparable price to an ICE vehicle, no one is going to buy them.

This would be rather overkill for my tastes, but would be tremendous nonetheless.

Wonderful. I don’t now any of the nitty gritty on what he put in the ‘Vette other than the trans itself is the original Hurst.

Hell yeah, Brent! My Uncle has 1965 Corvette convertible, which he acquired in the mid 90's without a motor (but with the stock side pipes). He went and pulled the first 350 small block out of a junkyard he could find, swapped in a taller rear end, and bada-bing, he has something that absolutely rips, sounds like

Shame is the best behavior modifier - ask my son (when he gets back from therapy).

Actually read the article and this is even better than I originally thought. This isn’t my favorite from the mid-60's to early-70's (or even my favorite classic ‘Stang for that matter), but having a not-numbers-matching classic is incredibly freeing. You can use whatever mods you want to make this into an awesome
