Hmmm. That thought didn't really register with me when she said the line, but it's a good point. I think I heard it as more of a shorthand for the kind of woman Debbie made Jimmy's mom out to be, not necessarily a fragrance she recognized.

I think Lip has reached a point where he flat-out hates Frank and doesn't hold back in his fights with him. But Ian still has daddy issues and seeks Frank's approval on some level (possibly dovetailing with issues relating to his sexual orientation), so he doesn't go full-bore when Frank attacks him.

I never thought I'd reach a point where I found the continued presence of Jody redeeming and promising for reasons not primarily relating to the prospect of more full-frontal. But here I am.

Koechner is the holdout?

This is a good point, and especially now that the show is broadcast in HD on a wide screen, there's absolutely no reason they couldn't just keep the camera on the entire runway show and have a box in the corner to show judge reactions, Tim/Joanna kiss-and-cries with the designers, etc. But I have absolutely zero faith

He's unappreciated by me in the present day.

Did you, by chance, work at the law offices of Cage & Fish?

I would watch the shit out of Jody and Ryan Kwanten's buddy comedy.

I assume we're all in agreement that by season's end, Sheila will be pegging Jody instead of Frank, right?

I was appalled by Mila's auf last week, as I thought her dress was the second best look on the runway (and in any event, Jerrell's and Michael's were just awful and both infinitely more auf-worthy).

The PR/fashion bloggers Tom & Lorenzo showed Mondo's sophomore post-PR collection a while back, and they rightly criticized it for not really showing any growth since the competition.

As long as we get more full-frontal Jody, I'm fine with that.

Georgia Engel. Great comedic actress. And somehow I missed the episode where Robert found out she smoked, which sounds like it would be pretty great.

Agree completely. Not to be mean, because I'm sure she has to have a good sense of humor to deliver lines the way she does, but she just didn't come across as funny on the commentary tracks.

Anthony's "Don't ask him that!" when Avery asked Mizrahi if he'd also look twice at a woman on the street wearing one of the outfits (can't remember which one) was my fave.

"*If* she's had any work done"?! Does your TV have a collagen-swollen lips filter?

I think taking the baton from Teti necessarily makes one bring their A-game.

Jane's nervous facial expression behind Brad when they cut to him was also amazing. Eliza Coupe is really finding the sweet spot in that character, who I thought was a little too brittle in S1.

I rewound the DVR and turned on closed captioning for his line when the parrot flew at him and Max. Totally worth it, as the line turned out to be "Sweet Jackée!"

Eesh. I just got that. #facepalm
