Yeah, this was really gross and disrespectful. I have nothing against fanfic; I read and write a ton of it, but RPS (real person slash) has always bothered me. Even if it cost them a few “eyes”, the show should have made up a band.

Still, it was disrespectful to blindside these men by putting this out there without running it past them first. Especially when the point could have been easily made with fictional celebrities rather than using the names and likenesses of these two men. Drake and HBO knew this would create drama and outrage, which is…
she’s bi - she *is* openly LGBTQ.
It blows that here in the U.S. the emphasis on learning a 2nd language is lacking. I was always jealous of my ESL classmates who were fluent in Spanish and English.
I haaatttteee the way the Bad MSNBC Chris talks to women too. Just give Ari the show already!
Larry King was doing it for decades before any of those guys. He wasn’t so much as edgy as clueless.
They were kind of “slackers”, in the gen x sense: Judd, Puck, and Mo, at least didn’t have “grown up” jobs. I think the women were all still in school and I can’t remember Pedro’s job.
He’s very....shouty...
Judd, imo, went on to write some really good comics that had casts that featured gay, bisexual and varied characters who were non-white. For working fir a mainstream media company like DC, he did good job with inclusiveness.
Conservative humor is just plain bad when they try something other than punching down on minorities.
Is it me, or do you guys think McConnell doesn’t realize Adam wasn’t actually a mayor at 18 who bankrupted his city? Like, I get the idea he thinks he is literally reminding Adam of his previous failure....
BTW, candidates like Tim Ryan just viscerally bother in the most negative of ways. It’s most because they tell lies about their own party. Dems have tried every which way to court mostly white, mostly racist voters in the “heartland,” to a degree that is often embarrassing. And yet all your hear the Tim Ryan’s lie…
OT, but last fall, O’Malley came to an Atlanta campaign open house for Lucy McBath. Said that since he was out of office, he was spending all his time trying to get Democrats elected. Seemed like a good guy.
I think the tolerance (but probably a better word) of the left means toward inherent things such as race, national origin, sexuality, age, health concerns, etc., not with regard to people’s thoughts. Everyone should be intolerant toward odious ideas.
I hope some news channel gets the accused server on the air and she just goes “I say this with great respect: Number one, he’s not my type. Number two, it never happened. It never happened, ok?”
Poor Eric. He’s not used to such direct action. Usually people just spit in his food\drinks.
And yet neither man has been substantively held accountable for the shitty things they’ve done because their respective bases think they’re a partisan savior*.
There were “build the wall” patterns being shared daily as a way to intimidate PoC and immigrants, or to “make the libs cry” as the posters said.
I have multiple degrees, and one is joint major in English Literature. People act like I can’t read anything other than literary master pieces that are weighty and serious (I have with all due sarcasm). And yes I do read such ‘works’, but that also doesn’t make the romance novels I read any less meritorious. In fact,…
