Planet of the Apes and Alice In Wonderland are both terrible, but the trailer for Dark Shadows does make it looks like Burton has new lows to plunge to.

Looking at Peter Hook's side-project work, it seems a miracle that Monaco was any good at all.  I'm a huge New Order fan and I can say with certainty that Revenge made some of the worst music I've ever heard in my life.

That self-titled album is excellent.  Some pretty good singles on the other two spotty ones too.

I own Republic and Honey's Dead from that list and gladly stand by both of them.

Yeah, she might need to work on her cackle.

I really would have liked to see Carrie Brownstein guesting on Car Talk instead.

My biggest problem with that "Goon" movie is that there is a whole slew of underutilized celebrity hockey fans they could have cast in those roles.  Dave Coulier, Richard Dean Anderson, Mike Myers, Pat Sajak, and Kevin Smith all sharing the ice? Shit would be unbelievable.

I don't know, if you like Dave Coulier, Image's "Man of Three, Maybe Four Voices" is probably worth a read.

Someone recently went to the Helena Bonham Carter School of Makeup Application.

Think I'd have to get a tramp stamp of Bob from Twin Peaks.

"I’m slightly afraid Lou Pearlman is going to suddenly appear behind me in an open bathrobe."

Saint Etienne is better than any of the Britpop bands proper.  Start there and stay there.

But has bullying claimed the lives of anyone not named Ty?
