Sorry the book is a complete mess. So 99% of Europe is dead we will assume that the middle East has an immunity gene being the virus followed the silk road and the Khans invasion. So in this book we have a clear setup it will be China vs the Islamic culture which actually self destructed due to religious conflicts…
