Yes!! They are just NOT GOOD.

I don’t love my job, but on average I like it, I like my company, it pays well enough and I get 4 weeks of vacation. What’s wrong with that?

Pretty sure this was common advice in the 90's (since houses always appreciate, duh).

Christmas wasn’t so bad until we moved 1200 miles away from our families. Now it’s the one time of year my husband and I see our extended families so we end up stretched very thin. Not to mention it’s a 4 hour drive between my family and his, which we usually end up doing on Christmas Eve.

I think this is a great question that is probably at the crux of the problem. Hosting is easy when you have a whole damn house.

Getting active is a great option too. My friend group always shows up for a game of volleyball in the park. Hiking is great if you have parks or trails in your area. We also go tubing every summer which requires some cheap equipment (tube, $10) and a river. Festivals and street fairs in your city are free and usually

I think you may be on to something.

72 hours of sick time is actually 9 work days.

I find this happens as they age a little. If the leaves are wilty I usually cut or peel them off.

I thought of this too. The ultimate multitool!!

The TLS Motherload Weekender Junior backpack from eBags. It is not for walking around Europe- it is for maximizing your “personal item” space on ultra low cost carriers (hate all you want, I have no issues flying Spirit and Frontier). It’s the perfect size for a long weekend trip. It has thoughtfully designed pockets

For extended family, we have started doing a white elephant gift exchange on a couple sides. I think this is a win-win-win. For my in-laws very large family, it is much less complicated and expensive. For my small family, it’s a nice event to focus the night on. Overall it encapsulates the fun and spirit of the

I’m so torn on this. On the one hand, it looks stunning and sounds like it could be good. On the other hand, I don’t really like cauliflower. On the other other hand, I’ve never had roasted (+brined) cauliflower. On the other other other hand, Thanksgiving sounds like a high-stakes time to try this. May have to give

National Forest & BLM land can be used for ranching. That’s how we got the whole Bundy standoff.

I’ve been really into their mandarin orange seltzer lately. It’s much more carbonated than LaCroix though, so sometimes I accidentally take too big of a swig and have an overflow situation.

Yes! Very convenient, we have it on one vehicle and use it all the time. Wish it were a more standard feature.

I used to be pretty shy and bad at small talk. It was very hard when I moved away from my hometown and everyone I ever knew to make friends or even get along at work. On my second move to yet another new location, I really put effort in to small talk and socializing. I think it’s paid off a lot in my personal life and

I love the giant chipotle black bean ones they sell at Costco and Sams. They have a ton of flavor and taste like the southwest.

To be fair, people die on Long’s every year.

This is a great list that hits on all my hiking pet peeves! One thing I’d add is “stay on the trail, even if it’s muddy.” Walking around the mud widens the trail and causes erosion.
