I got a 970 a couple years ago and was super happy with how it handled all my 1080p gaming... but then this year I had to go and get a deal on a 4k TV, and now I have to dial back things just to run at 1440. Now I realize that “deal” means I need one of these... Someone give me the moneys please!

This isn’t even preordering, this is giving your money to someone for their word. What their word is worth is another story. There is nothing wrong with making this arrangement as long as this is the arrangement you want to go into, but it isn’t a preorder.

I am more pissed now then when I originally posted. These assholes delayed a game for at least a year, and during that time they only removed features, and now are lying poorly by saying that those features were bad.

So basically they made the Wii U version worse, so they could have a launch title worth owning for their next system, which does not run the game as well anyway.

Nah, Wii U owners see how they can spend $50 or $500 to play this game. Some people have that money sitting around, but those people should buy a GTX1080 first anyway!

Yeah it is probably true... I waited to buy mine once Mario Kart 8 got the reviews it was always going to deserve, which was pretty late in the cycle, and it wasn’t until I had the Wii U that I realized it was the console experience I had always wanted (bought it out of muscle memory basically.)
