Where are all the free speech absolutists??

His original music is being used for the sound track. I’m reading that only about 10 directors have composed for their own feature, John Carpenter mostly notably.

You shouldn't even have an opinion in this. You know next to nothing.

one of the saddest things has been watching Nicole Kidman, formerly one of the most beautiful people alive, turn into someone who looks like they stole and is now wearing Nicole Kidman’s face.

Grohl is a righty”

In that header image, Zac Efron looks older than Nicole Kidman.

Why are we still doing this?

One of my favorite “that guy” actors. RIP that guy.

I had to look up what suicide by proxy is. In early modern Europe a lot of depressed women who had been taught that suicide was a sin that would condemn them to hell instead committed homicides (often of infants) so that the state would have to execute them & they could repent & go to heaven. History is some sick shit

My issue with it was that Carmy was talking to Tina. Then Claire walked over, and Tina... didn’t tell Carmy she was there and walked away?

Yeah, I see Syd and Carmy as most similar to the dynamic between Don Draper and Peggy Olson. Their chemistry isn’t romantic or sexual, it’s an intense platonic respect. It’s intimate in its way, but built around seeing each other as artists with similar drives, as kindred spirits within their craft.

omg it’s almost as if two heterosexual people of the opposite gender can be friends without it becoming romantic! i know, i know, Hollywood doesn’t usually understand human behaviour so we shouldn’t expect too much.

Paul McCartney has a left handed piano? How does that work?

Agreed. I can see how an aggressive fan could take it as a dig towards Swift, but I read it as Grohl using the massive cultural phenomenon that is the Eras Tour as a jumping off point for his own musings. I’d take the “we actually play live” as being in comparison to pop in general (or other older rock bands?) before

I’m not advocating piracy (especially wholesale and for-profit like Jetflicks), but there is an issue of big-business conglomerates using their outlets to strangle the market and siphon off a healthy profit before paying the artists. The consumer can feel powerless knowing the main legal way to watch a show they like

So scenario A: You don’t assume the worst of someone and don’t make a comment implying that their morality is fucked.

“I believe in innocent until proven guilty and I believe in justice.”

“I love his work, he makes me sound like everyone else!”

“Reverse racism” is this dude’s favorite topic, ever since he lost a past opportunity to a competing creator of color and it fried his fucking brain.

If they had made *all* of the programs look like that, I’d agree. But since it was only Clu it stood out and looked weird. *Especially* that one scene in the real world where he turns to say goodbye to his son. That wasn’t supposed to be a program.
