The biggest problem for The Mandalorian as I see it is that everything has to tie into both the Abramsverse and the Filoniverse, neither of which burden Andor much, because the former didn’t exist in its timeline yet, and the latter only dropped a few Easter eggs and one mercifully short-lived Clone Wars/Rebels…

What’s the point of the comparison other than in the broadest terms: “these are both shows in a franchise”? Andor is like a 70s political thriller. Mando is a spaghetti western. Neither one “does” something to the other.

i always think it’s weird when people do this ‘won’t someone please think of the crew!’ stuff. they do not care, got paid already and have moved onto their next thing.

That’s a real shame, as I honestly enjoyed this movie a lot.

Why am I obsessed with these reviews and I don’t even watch this show?! Man, it sounds exactly as gross as I’d always figured it was. But these reviews are fun.

I’m pleased by the fact that the first time I ever heard about this show was people complaining that it’s not as good as it used to be.

I have seen maybe one or two episodes of The Bachelor ever and I have no intention of starting now, but this headline drew me in. I see the pictures of these guys occasionally and they’re so intensely generically and conventionally attractive that I can’t help but be 100% certain that they’re all wet blankets…
