You should check that EXIF data on that top picture. It gives your precise address to anyone.

I spent thousands of hours driving emergency vehicles, and this is absolute bullshit. First off, their cooling systems are upgraded. Also, I drove Impalas and Tahoes, as well as Crown Vics, Explorers, Tauruses, Chargers, Durangos... They can do 100+mph for over an hour in 100+degree heat and they’re just fine.

A little late to the party, aren’t we?

Meanwhile, gas has been at roughly 3.20-3.50/gal Canada for the last year, and no one cares.

A railway can be made of millions of individual sections. This seems to be an incredibly time-consuming process as opposed to the 30 seconds it takes to put 2 rivets in an iron bar.

Turns out she moved back to Chateauguay, Quebec, where she remarried (!), had children (!!), and raises them with her new husband (!!!). She’s changed her name to Leanne Bordelais.

You’ve done the Lord’s work on this one.

The CVPI was awesomely roomy and could fit a small car in the trunk. However, it was a complete bitch to drive in the snow, and lacked some stability at very high speeds.

Fun tip. When a power window “doesn’t work right” with the auto up/down, you just need to re-calibrate it. Hold it fully down until the window has been down for a second, and do the opposite to bring it up. It works just fine after that.

There’s a switch that the flight deck can use to chime the cabin. That will sometimes be used to tell the flight attendants that it’s safe for them to get off their jump seats. The seatbelt signs will be turned off, as a general rule, at 10k feet.

Holy shit. My grandfather owns a Camry with a dent just like that.

Wow, I got featured for the first time ever! God I hope this site doesn’t crash and burn.

Of course it’s Canada.

I use Synergy to control my ThinkPad when it’s docked on my PC desk. Fantastic app for $30.

So here is an interesting one. Went on a road trip, decided to treat myself to a nicer (for my 20 year old ass at the time) hotel. Paid around $200 for the night. I had a manual 2008 Mazda3 GT sedan at the time, which was identical to the one in the picture. Not a bad car by any means, but far from spectacular.

Holy shit, 120 GPH is what this will burn, doing 470mph at 40,000ft.

FedEx still has a lot of MD-10s and A300s. They’ll run them for another 5-10 years. Then there’s the 757s and actual MD-11s, that will still be good for at least 15-20 years, and by then I guess they’ll have figured out a replacement for them.

The only “civilian” 767s still produced are for FedEx (with a modern 787-like glass cockpit). The Amazon planes are leases.

Do you think it’s too expensive for its own good? Does it truly compete with an E-Class?
