Yep, I made the same point down thread. The Rose Road is supposedly 760 miles long. Even at 60 miles a day, that's two weeks at 50 miles per day, which is about as fast as a wagon train can go.

Ruling with dragons to back you up implies rule through fear no matter how you dress it up. I could be wrong, but that seems to be how the show is setting things up. I suspect the dragons will die defending Westeros from the white walkers, and then it will be up to Dany/Jon to prove they can command the loyalty of

Thanks for taking the time to reply :)

I'm not going to argue — never seen it, never will. Too much good TV to watch instead.

Okay, so you're here just to troll. Got it.

It's a creative choice. I was fine with it, as likely was about 99% of the audience. You can always write your own, or at least, wait until you see how the book tells it.

Because they're all too busy fighting for their own lives? Really, history (real history) is littered with tales of amazing heroism and survival stories. Dragons excepted, it's not that much of a stretch to find some who should have died surviving the chaos of battle.

There's always one — well, quite a few. Honestly, if you can't suspend even a little disbelief, it's hard to know how you can enjoy any TV show.

The scene where they talk Dany out of using the dragons to terrorize King's Landing is an important one, since it effectively seals the fate of the beasts. Dany can't effectively rule Westeros as a benevolent ruler while she still has the dragons at her beck and call. So, I'm pretty sure they're going to have to die

The scale bends around and meets at the ends. Sharknado is so bad, it's good…

I'm disappointed the reviewer didn't mention the quality of Drogon's CGI work in this episode. You could feel the sheer heft and power of the majestic beast in the way it flew across the screen. Movie quality work — probably the best TV has ever had to offer. Fantastic stuff.

I was just thinking he's going to have to leave his hand behind to get back to the surface.

Some of you got mad I spent so much time on “time” last week, but when the entirety of Dany’s Dothraki army caught up to Jaime’s forces before they made it back to King’s Landing, my brain broke all over again.

I think he would lose more than just his head if he tried it on with Arya…

Well, that was intense…

Or maybe people just disagree with your opinion of the show…

Actually, that's pretty much what happened in previous seasons, with the characters continually moving around the lands like pieces on a chess board.

[whisper] “Your majesty, we just burned through a season of story in three episodes.” [/whisper]

Yeah, you can see basalt columns in some of the shots of the cliffs, not uncoincidentally, near Giant's Causeway.

Phew. I thought for one second I thought you were talking about that Kevin Sorbo abomination.
