Unfortunately, I doubt you will be wrong about the ridiculousness of expecting Trump to be a good president.

If it were that simple, dictators wouldn't have shaped much of the history of the world.

And to reinforce the idea, people (like me) get frustrated with horror movies when it's the fourth time in the movie someone decides to "go it alone" even after they've seen the first three meet a grisly end.

Well, at least the pacing was a little less frenetic this week. For me, that helped.

Ah yes, reduced to commenting on Disqus.

That's not necessarily true. She can replace political appointees like Comey, no problem, but it's much harder to replace career employees. Federal employees have rights, and there would need to be just cause before they can be fired. Obviously leaking information is a fireable offense, but changing the culture for…

I was listening to the radio the other day (when Trump was still down bigly in the polls) and the idiot (it was Infowars) actually quoted another kids poll that had Trump winning as being the most accurate poll of them all.

That you, Donald? Don't you have more important things you could be doing right now?

Clunky exposition + cool aerial fight scene. Sums it up nicely.

As a massive fan of Hitchhiker's Guide, I read the first one when it first came out, (yeah, I'm that old) and remember being disappointed by it. But then, I much preferred Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker radio production over the books anyway. I think he was a better scriptwriter than he was an author.

And while we're talking about streamed British shows, if you have Amazon Prime and haven't watched Fleabag yet, then what the hell is taking you so long? By far the smartest and funniest sitcom out of the UK this year.

To add, they can actually afford far more than what they spend on this show.

You really took time out of your day to post that comment?

Actually it was a great example of a good pun, taking two completely disconnected plot points, the David Soul photo theft and the religious Halloween costumes, and bringing them together in a way that is instantly obvious yet (I suspect) no one saw coming.

I think the phrase "jumped the shark" did so many years ago.

Not if she was promising to show photos of me doing shots to my parents…

Heh. Yeah, it only occurred to me fairly recently too, and I expect I'm not the first.
