Ugh. Moreover the Q is nowhere in this conversation at all. I honestly am not surprised. When I was in college, it kinda shook out into two groups. The first group was made up of self-identified gays and lesbians who were very hetero-normative and just wanted the husband/wife, white picket fence, two kids and a dog

This was the moment that I also decided it wasn’t worth it. Going nowhere.

...well, I thought it was funny.

This is hilarious.

The only person who you need to trust though is your own partner. If they aren’t down, then it doesn’t matter who is interested in them.

My husband says that no one has forced him to do anything in his life, and that includes be married to me. If he didn’t want to be married (with the things we have agreed upon, like monogamy), then he wouldn’t be married anymore.

It comes back to what you expect from your partner. I think a lot of people get in trouble when they expect their partner to fulfill all emotional and physical needs in their life. My husband has a very specific role of husband. It is very important, but he is not my best friend, or a co-worker. Other relationships

???

No. Not with babies.

*shrug* I think it is (or was at least) pretty standard convention to call ones in-laws Mom and Dad. I wouldn’t consider it disrespectful, but whatever. That’s the whole reason people are discussing this to begin with.

As long as the kid is loved by all parties involved...it’s not like he’s not going to know that Bridget is his mom. My MIL calls me her daughter. I have a mother that loves me and cares for me, too. I’m not going to throw a fit about it. It reminds me of the Kim Cattrall quote where she gets torn apart bc she says

Yep. Turned it off immediately when I saw he was the host.

I refused to give them my participation. I will wait for the recap on here.

Someone up thread mentioned that it's all about numbers to him, and exactly because of that, the second I saw he was the host I turned SNL off. Voting with my remote.

Right... for your 3 year old... ;)

You are a treasure.

Right? Except Fleetwood Mac isn't a woman...

bahaha. omg.

He seems to be slowly morphing into Seth Rogan. I don’t know how to feel about that.
