Why do you think this? I have no actual knowledge, but I would think that a dog needs to be standing to go to the bathroom.

I don't understand why it matters if it's fake? It has absolutely no bearing on anything else at all. I'm all for "scrutinizing authenticity" of things that actually matter, but a letter allegedly written by an 8 year old on the internet... I'm not putting any energy into thinking about whether it's real or not.
Likening a group of people to poop is not the same thing as saying that all fags should burn in hell or protesting at funerals of American troops. So if you really think these two things are comparable.... then I don't know what to say.
I would encourage you to speak with a genetic counselor if you ever decide to have children. She would be able to tell you the risks that a child would inherit or develop the conditions that run in your family.
Actually, people also get referred to genetic counseling. I am a genetic counselor and I cannot tell you the number of times a woman or couple has shown up at my office and have no idea why they are there. They were referred because of a family history or they screened positive on a test, etc. I have seen a not…
This is not true. I am a genetic counselor and there is a 5% false positive rate for First Trimester Screening (the test that most women do). However, it is just a screening test so the result is a chance- whether that chance is 1/10 or 1/1000. It is never a yes or no answer unless you do invasive prenatal testing…
I know. I read some of them and it takes every single ounce of self control I have to not respond!
These are pretty severe circumstances though. I'm not really sure you can compare them to this case.
This reminds me of that episode of Toddlers and Tiaras where the little girl pretends to be a doll for one of her skits and she won't come out of the box. I digress....
This. This is a huge issue that no one seems to be taking into account. I went to a seminar where a trans woman of color was talking about how she had had it done. And yes it was dangerous, and yes she knew that, but also walking into the women's bathroom was dangerous if she walked in with her flat booty and flat…
I have a technical question- how does one have sex like that? I think even if I could get myself in that position (which is doubtful to begin with), how would I be able to get any sort of movement or rhythm going? She's looking pretty sassy, so I'm guessing it's working for her, but I feel like I would totally end…
Are you new around here?
What the freaking hell?!? I don't even know where to begin. This thread it ridiculous.
A-fucking-men! His comment is revolting. I can't even imagine discovering that someone had used a photo of me in such a degrading way. Ugh.
Me too! All the freaking time. Definitely hurts the most when it comes from family though...
I think the issue is that it's so hard to time it right, and saying that if you do it correctly it is as effective as "perfect use" of condoms and slightly more effective than "typical use" of OCPs doesn't seem to jive. I don't think you can assume that women would be better at NFP than using other forms of birth…
You're a buzzkill.
You just scared the shit out of me. Was not expecting that.
As a genetic counsel(ing student) I can answer this. "The test" is only going to look for mutations in BRCA1 and BRCA2. There are a couple of outcomes that you can get. You can test positive for a mutation- meaning you have a higher risk of getting breast/ovarian cancer. You can test negative, which only says that…
One of my grandmothers is also called "Mammy". My older cousin named her that because she had a Mommy and a Grammy, and just figured that she should have a Mammy, too. By the time that I learned the racial connotations associated with the name I was probably around 15. Pretty sure that my family also had no idea…
