I loved when Michael would randomly come through with a deeper moment like that. I attribute a lot to Steve Carells portrayal. I love when Pam rushes to say goodbye to him at the airport. And when she says later after he’d been off the show for awhile that he was happy that he finally had a reason to get a cell phone…
Oh my god, yes. And when the cameras catch Michael handing out candy to trick or treaters after he was so terrible about firing that guy. I just have such compassion for him even though he could be so awful.
The last few seasons were almost unwatchable IMO. During my many, many rewatchings of the series, I basically pretend that the show stopped after season 5.
I always get misty eyes when Michael goes to Pam’s art show. Michael is so awful but in that moment, your heart breaks. “There’s my car! Wow, that’s our building!”
She is such a fucking witch and I hope one day when she is asking these rude as fuck questions on her show, someone turns the tables and asks her if she regrets stirring up a moral panic in America and parroting racist bullshit for profit on Fox News for years. I would kill to see her face as her audience applauded…
