It's blowing my mind that song was a apparently a hit. It's perfect for this show and, I guess 1969, but can you imagine something like that getting radio play now?!

Yeah, Stan is the only man on this show who the late 60s/early 70s look really good on.

Well I remember him getting good reviews for Find Me Guilty. And the Riddick stuff generally goes over well.

Wow, I don't even remember that guy in the first movie.

He's there to show that Betty is basically still a little girl, and barely has any interest in growing beyond that. To the point that she's legitimately jealous when he bonds with Sally.

Mostly Han. There's all this heightened teenage crime drama in that movie and he's just lounging around trying not to pat the wannabe Yakuza kid on the head and thinking "I'm getting too old for this shit" I also like that Justin Lin was starting to seed the "It's all about family, bro" motif even in his first movie.

If I'm remembering right doesn't Jimmy tell Don that he basically got the better deal out of their situation?

I think the closest we're ever gonna get is Dawn meeting her friend in that diner. That had a bit of an outsider looking in vibe to it "Everytime they empty the garbage it sounds like New Years Eve, there's so many empty bottles!"

Tokyo Drift has such a bad reputation that I was very pleasantly surprised when I finally got around to seeing it.

This reminded me that there's a whole second movie that I haven't seen at all. Is that one worth watching?

Wasn't of much use to Miranda either. That was like one of three episodes that indicated any of them had any family at all.

And for this Roger/Jane exchange: "Why don't you sing like that?" "Why don't you look like him?"

And in terms of uniqueness, fast 6 was a high octane blockbuster action thrill ride…that started with vin diesel and Paul walker racing to the hospital because Mia was in labor and ended on the family gathering around the dinner table to pray. This franchise is really adorable.

Huh…there was one right near my school in Williamstown, Mass. I guess they've closed too. It has been like…six years since I graduated

I finally watched Saw! Shortly followed by Saw 2. Didn't find them that scary, though I was pretty uneasy the first time the Jigsaw puppet slowly tricycled in. And based on 2 my tolerance for gore has really strengthened in the last few years and for that I blame this site.

Indigo….my sister had to put one of our dogs to sleep last night. Been a rough couple of days.

Eh, kinda getting vertigo up here.

The handcuffing as an adult thing, I was just assuming she's so used to it she can't fall asleep without it.

I'm catching up with the show on Hulu, and am only up to the Iron Ceiling. So I don't know if they take this thread anywhere in the rest of the season but I'm just a little annoyed that they had to have that moment where the chief tells Thompson "I don't have time for your little crush on Carter" I know, they cast
