He shoulda saved it for Forza.

That's at my local track... safe to say that we don't use that car anymore..

I think they were plugs in the intake plenum to stop crap getting in it when the car was being stored.

I drove a straightpiped 911 GT3 Cup Car. Well, I steered it, as it was pushed backwards into the workshop...

As a current Flaggie, Starter and Timekeeper, I completely agree with everything you have said. And yes, never underestimate a Marshal.

I had the job of holding the Car Stalled board recently at a V8SC event. Luckily I only had to throw it once, for a car mid pack of the grid. Regardless, it had to be used.

V8 Supercars have a Car Stalled board that is thrown from the Startline in this exact circumstance. Being the high calibre of driver, they are watching for that board and know to keep out of the grid lanes just in case something like this happens. Because when this happens in V8SC it really goes bad. (lots of fire.)

Why not just leap over that small hurdle and go straight for the car it's based off, the VF Commodore? That has a stick.

That was for the aero testing and parity tests done by V8SC. They wouldn't have had the new engines by then so they probably just chucked the body panels on one of their existing cars.

I love the 00 Lowndes car, The Beast I believe it's called. I follow the V8SC a lot, and I even make sure I have a very involved* seating position when they come here.

Why is there only one pedal here!?!?!?

And that's why Litres per 100km is the superior measurement. Planning a 500km trip? You need 5 times what your car gets in it's L/100km rating. i.e if it gets 10L/100km then you need 50 litres. Want to compare two different cars? Car 1 gets 15L/100km, and car 2 gets 30L/100km. Car 2 is half as efficient as car 1,

I have a 2000 MK2, and I wish that was in a game as well...

TOCA Race Driver 3 had the full body streamlined silver arrow, I just can't remember which year..

that front end screams 06/07 Focus to me.

You sir, win everything.

Those unmarked cars are pretty sleeper, but the main giveaways are the little black boxes on the dash for the lights and the fact that the cop is always still wearing full uniform at least in NZ/AU (pic is from Australia but we run the same cars in NZ too) It is pretty obvious to see that it is a police officer, since

Unbelievable stuff. Hoping to jump the ditch and do marshalling for that next year since it falls around my 17th birthday.

*Purrelli I believe is the correct spelling.

ATCC is what it used to be in the 90's before it became V8SC. I don't think they would go back. Also a 5.0 litre 600-ish HP RWD 4 door racing sedan is a staple of Kiwi and Aussi motorsport. They wont be bringing a BTCC style series down as the top class anytime soon.
