I played the betas for both this and Overwatch, and found a lot to like and quite a bit to dislike. From my point-of-view, I’m currently more in love with the heroes in Ovewatch, personality wise, as they’re all pretty awesome, and being based in a cartoonish variation on Earth doesn’t hurt at all, but Battleborn was

You mean Overwatch is shit....Its $60 on consoles, while on PC its only $40 even though they have the same amount of content...The beta was the entire game, which has NO story campaign, and only a handful of maps and modes....Any sort of a story is supposed to be read in online comics or animated internet videos as

I’m 100% with you. I take breaks from Uncharted 4 to play Battleborn, because it’s fun! There’s a lot of meat to the multiplayer, with the many MOBA elements, and that adds a depth to the play that my old-man reflexes (I’m 38) can handle better than the twitchiness of Overwatch.

Unlike most of the people here, I actually like the game and I decided to get it after the beta even though I wasn’t going to, the game looked pretty forgettable before but once I gave it a try I changed my mind.

Same with Overwatch which I had more interest in, but ultimately it was the complete opposite, after trying

I called Overwatch fast because it’s single-objective and matches last 5-10 minutes. Battleborn has a lot going on in a match but they’re longer (15-30 min) and more methodical. Not that that’s bad. I love both games but for very different reasons, which is why I don’t think it’s fair to compare both so closely.

You know you can set up a private match against bots to practice with characters, right? It’s not exactly what you’re asking for but it is pretty helpful.

I’ll be playing Battleborn and Overwatch and silently weeping that one is a super pretty but overglorified TF2 sequel and the other is exactly what I want gameplay wise but will likely forever be the slightly uglier, way less popular of the two. *Sob*
