Actually - there are some antibiotic resistant strains of gonorrhea. Also herpes, HIV and HPV are viral so...you can’t just pop a pill and make them go away. (Yes, many people can clear strains 16 and 18 of HPV on their own, but strains 6 and 11 will give you warts for life...)

Since I last checked, HBO shows don’t do condoms in general; from Dream On to Hung...I don’t quite remember if Sex and the City did. For some reason the Insecure audience actually cares.
