@nahde: You can easily feed random data into a standard turing machine, though. There are plenty of ways to capture random information and feed it into something as bits (hook a geiger counter up to a computer, for example).

Just SSH into it and use the command line. If you didn't install any FTP clients when you Jailbroke, now's a good time.

@madisondj: Bah, like Paladins would put out! Now, if you get her to dress up like a Beholder- that's hot.

And when Jolene Blalock calls something appalling (and that something isn't bad plastic surgery), you know you've failed.

Way ahead of you. Children, like dogs, are fantastic- when they belong to someone else. When you're cleaning up their shit, it's really not worth bothering.

@D Israel: Look at it this way: it's unlikely that we're unusual. By definition, unusual things are rare. Which isn't to say that they don't happen, but odds are, an event isn't unusual.

"inn, dungeon, fight, loot, level"

@Chip Overclock: Space is huge. Our own galaxy could be teeming with civilization, and we'd never hear hide nor hair of them.

I still suspect that time and delta-entropy are pretty much synonymous. Note: not the increase in entropy, but just its delta.

The Air is not a netbook. I thought that was pretty obvious. Netbooks are supposed to be very low powered PCs, available at commodity pricing, suitable for web browsing and not much more (hence the "net" part).

"I hope you relish it, as much as I do," was probably the hottest moment in anything on TV ever.

He's obviously not going to be the Master, when he's the perfect actor to bring back Sabalom Glitz. Which also means he's going to have a bedroom tumble with Amy before Rory does.

@sugardeath: Well, not exactly. People use the word the same way, but they also assume this sequence of events means that Nerdvana will occur.

Wait, what?

It's plausible. It doesn't mean that the video is true, but a bullet is spinning with a fair RPM when it comes out of the barrel. Since it was a jacketed round, we wouldn't expect much deformation. The ice wouldn't provide very much friction.

@iceph03nix: It appeared to be a jacketed round.

*yawn*

I don't have a Facebook account. How much will they pay me?

@Franklin Harris: They're all altered. They aren't photos- they're sensor data rendered in a human-viewable format. They're almost all colorized and modified, usually to better express the data that they're trying to present.
