Yes, but the proper lens can bend an obscure image or object into a better one, it could make the more distant side of the screen closer ans more clear, a perfect image for each eye.

You're telling me you can't put a 5.7 inch 120hz screen and a pair of shuttered lenses in a small box in front of your face and it wont work? I'm saying each eye would see the whole screen. It would work just fine. It seems unnecessary, but it's a possible solution to the cost of a higher resolution screen.

I feel like they might be splitting that 120hz refresh rate into 60, pairing the screen with built-in shutter glasses. Possibly as an alternative to an expensive 2x 1080p oled display. shutter glass tech has dropped to dirt cheap prices these days.

I didn't know if i would like the nexus 6 till i saw the screen on mine. oleds are fucking beautiful. the only question i have to ask is what resolution is sony going with, anything less than 1080 would be a disappointment.
