We’re pretty much at the point for me to go EV - refueling in a short period of time doesn’t matter too much to me, as I typically fill up my tank only 2 times per week (which means I can charge at home nightly)

Its actually not that hard if we are talking about AC charging stations that you’d expect to be at government sites. Pretty much any electrician can install an bunch of 40A circuits, good for charging each vehicle at 7.6kw - Good for around 30 miles per hours of charging.

Going home to get a trailer is a pain, but 90% of the time, I know when I’ll need the trailer.

I used to “need” a pickup truck for the work and hobbies I take part in. Trucks suck, they are big, heavy, and have a crap turning radius.

The v6 Eco diesel gets you the same towing capacity, and 8 less spark plugs.

Forget all these recommendations... Get a Jeep Grand Cherokee Eco diesel. It's got a towing capacity of 8k+ and isn't some giant or over priced breast. You can likely find in in the ~$20k range with less than 60k miles... If you aren't picky on color.

GM stopped using the engine in their own products, so production was ending. Polaris had to find (or in the case develop) a new engine as a replacement.
