I was just about to say that :P I think that's part of why game developers are a bit more hesitant to do 'new' stuff, because change something for progress and the sake of taking a new direction, and everybody bombards the studio. It's also part of why the media targets gaming, because it's an easy target.

    And that's why I'm glad I live alone :T

You're missing the big picture. Some of our early widespread inventions were made with the intent to kill, so it's not just modern times and the U.S. That's just human nature, war is a great part of our identity. If war didn't catalyze a great social/technological/scientific change , then they were most likely the

There was an "almost" there for a reason :P But when you think about it, if something wasn't done with original military intent, it was soon adopted for that cause. Case and point, every form of transportation was adjusted for military purposes, and even metallurgy was greatly advanced with the purpose of improving

Most likely, almost every great advancement in technology was a result of military research. That's just us humans for ya :P

Awesome, now all that's left in my wishlist is cybernetics :D

I think that's where the horror part kicks in, you know? ;)

Why would you want to eat art?? . . . . . . Wait, yea, art seems tasty >:D

    LIES!!!

To be fair with the game, I played on my iPad first. It wasn't until my brother came over once and tried to get me into the game that I tried it out on the comp, but it still didn't really enthrall me. Although the idea of owning an ocelot seemed cool

Quite honestly, what made this post catch my attention was the misreading of "Baer" as "Beer" xD

    It's less than 3 strongs

Yea, pardon my ignorance, Simcity just never really caught my attention, so I haven't bothered reading into the whole situation. But anyways, how was that a good idea? I remember having loads of fun on Roller Coaster Tycoon, and that didn't require online connection.

Actually, it's an adobe home, thank you very much :P

Can't you play these games offline??

Jesus, I was already dying of laughter, and you're not helping xD

Hmm, I'll try that. And thanks for the link ^^ So far, my best find was a Luka one called Reon :P

I would love to get into game design, but the numbers and codes are too intimidating >.<

Creativity?? Well I'm fucked >:T haha, nah, it's just, building houses and fending off creepers and digging holes and memorizing the crafting formulas isn't my cup of tea.

I dunno, I think I'd be pretty happy being the only person in the world :P As long as the factories keep on producing cheetoes, I could care less xD But I get what you're saying :)
