The Darien Gap was something of a proving grounds for a while. I prefer the Expedition de Las Americas. Some sweet CJ7s going for a drive.
I’m not sure if its standard procedure, or a glitch, but I got a letter from Texas about a $20 late fee for a toll. I didnt pay the crazy late fee, just paid the $2 and they never asked about the late fee and its off my account now.
TO be fair this is a Torch article, the man who writes articles about tailights all the time. This seems very On Brand.
RE: air mattress, I dont know if you have seen the super thin 1" inflatable sleeping pads for camping, but they are actually amazing. I was skeptical but my girlfriend got us some and they rock. Big space savers!
Theres the kicker. 8 grand will get you into so many other cars that are better at both fun driving, and wind in your hair. All you get here is fake vintage.
If you, intelligent investor man, with your vast knowledge of the markets, knew that VAG going electric would increase their share value, you should also have been able to parse that a major announcement made on April 1st was likely a joke.
Yea some magnetic mounts, some basic wiring skills and an auxiliary battery and you could run a full set of lights on this without even needing to modify it.
Heyyy, Gottem
Just let the trucks be trucks! Trucks want to be happy companions, they dont need to be sex symbols.
Its not a rugged look. I dont think it looks bad, but I’m not a truck buyer. The Honda Ridgeline took ages to sell well with its pedestrian looks. Trucks buyers want butch trucks.
Vector really embraced the brashness of supercars and I salute them for that.
I think these foreign manufacturers just miss the mark on design for little trucks. The little Mahindra would have been fine if they had rebranded as say, ROXOR or something, and made the front end a little more butch. Something akin to that Alpha Wolf electric truck.
They also made pretty decent cars. Its not like GM didnt give them legs to stand on, they just realized they were actually going to have to change a lot of corporate structure to allow Saturn to operate as it should.
Exactly. Looking at the failure image, you can see the rebar in the garage beam where the pool gave way, however the rebar all seems to be flush with the slab, making me wonder if the beam was cut and a pool was tacked on? Either way no central support beam in the pool seems wild to me. Just the shifting load of water…
More worryingly, there seems to be suspiciously little rebar in the slab, meaning it had no flex. Micro-cracking is a bitch.
I noticed the garage slab seems to flex a lot when it get hit initially, which leads me to think the garage was properly engineered, while the pool was likely an add-on.
Which brings up an even bigger question of, do you really need any specific warning light other than non serious issue, and serious issue?
It works for Egypt though. If a country that needed those shipments is now stuck without them, that country is more likely to look for a shipping company that follows Egypts rules, or is managed well enough to keep the ship from getting stuck in regulations hell.
