I mean, get nothing for the last few months, Vs get nothing for the next 4 years?

Crazy. I’ve got my eye on a slightly used one that will be available in around 2039 or so.

Agreed.

and then watch them load, line, by excruciating line.

Workers barracks for all.

Look, I’m 10 turns from completing a wonder, Ill head to bed after that.

Same. I get a very dry feeling and cant keep my eyes closed when I try to sleep if I dont wear my blue blockers all day. It may not be the blue light, but there is something about the glasses that helps.

If you have the itch, I recommend watching Ronald Finger restore his Fiero in his garage. Its a crackin series and hopefully will keep you busy long enough this guy comes down 2-3k so you can scoop it up.

I find that matte black works, so long as thats not the only thing there. A stripe, no matter how small, would reinforce that it is indeed painted. OR, something like gloss black trim, or a (ugh) decal of somesort.

Which is really Elons most crucial step. He who sets the standard, makes the rules. I feel like its often overlooked that the EV1 required you to charge at home, or at a very few charging stations, and a aassive car company like GM is too specialized for manufacturing to also get into the logistics game without major

But thats different. Ricks Auto Shop isnt slapping wing and a paintjob on a corvette and selling it to someone as a GM product. Its clearly a modified product. A tuner house like Lingenfelter sells a really pimped out corvette with a rebuilt engine and can be purchased off a GM lot, however its licensed by GM and

Its only legal to leave the original branding on them if they license the products. Otherwise they are not in the legal right. Might not be shut down, but doesnt mean they are right.

Those companies usually license the base vehicle, or remove all branding, and name the car something besides the base model. ICON 4x4 has been barred from remaking the original Bronco logos on their vehicles, and must either use the originals, or rebrand the Broncos as their own refurbished product. Many, MANY,

Honestly, Paying $675K for a fully designed and tested monoqoque is pennies of R&D. Now design an EV drivetrain/purchase one in, and you could be producing cars pretty quickly. Selling them might be harder, but thats true for everyone.

Yea, two bold colors do not a good combination make.

I generally dislike Petrolicious, but there’s a video on a guy who has a built Commando and its just beautiful. I’d love to do one up, but they are getting hard to come by.

Better get moving. Anything old in the Jeep world is appreciating daily it seems.

This. I’ve had my Jeep towed more than once for being “inoperable” because I had the doors leaning against the side of it letting it dry out after a rainstorm. Doesnt matter two shits if they were right or not, the tow company still demands payment to get your car back, and no ones going to small claims court for $400

TO be fair, old CJ heaters are just the floorboards.

My guess is that because the Jeeps of this vintage use a combined speedo/fuel gauge/water temp/odometer/turn signal cluster the owner doesn’t want to swap it out for a new one and kill the originality of the dash. Replacements are very hard to come by, and the newer models are all digital and ruin the aesthetic. If
