Its only legal to leave the original branding on them if they license the products. Otherwise they are not in the legal right. Might not be shut down, but doesnt mean they are right.

Honestly, Paying $675K for a fully designed and tested monoqoque is pennies of R&D. Now design an EV drivetrain/purchase one in, and you could be producing cars pretty quickly. Selling them might be harder, but thats true for everyone.
