Few people can write like he could, and fewer still could say Fuck You in such poetic ways.

Thats similar to what I heard. The guy I know was taking his dad to look at cars and his dad had heard really good things about the GTR. He was refused a test drive even though he had proven to them he would pay for it up front in cash if he liked it.

Whats up with not letting people test drive GTRs? I’ve known 2 people that were interested in getting one and couldnt get a test drive. That cant be good for business?

I lived in Chicago for 3 years and biked from Wicker Park to the Loop everyday and it was a wild ride every day. I have been hit by car doors, pedestrians, and even a city bus (just pulled out of a bus stop in front of me and I hit the back of it). The city has done a ton to help cyclists move about the city, except

I request the Jimmy:

Correct

I have a stock CJ7 and the two interactions I have with people are either nice people telling me it looks great as it is and it reminds them of their youth or something, or bros in other jeeps asking me how much lift i’m gonna put on it. None! just little the little jeep be a little jeep!

If you made the fenders body color it would help tremendously. No one wants 2 1/2 feet of plastic fender flare. That said, theres no hope for the grill other than completely reworking it.

Shh, let everyone hate on the square lights so that those Jeeps depreciate more!

This is a great response, and something I have heard alot, especially along the labor fronts. As an optimist, I think we will see truly great craftsman and artists in the Architectural fields before too long. We modernized our construction methods extremely quickly, and area really on now seeing diminishing returns

Were moving in to Bold Caps Territory, methinks.

God the cars of Fury Road are so good.

This is one of those things where you you have an idea that sounds really cool, and then you build it and it’s not quite as cool as you thought. And then you keep looking at it until it becomes horribly grotesque and you realize why no one has done it before.

Hell yea man, nice meeting you too. Loved the Bronco.

Thats the one! Thanks, its been a really fun project. Picked it up off a guy in California and have been slowly making it a daily.

I brought the blue CJ, posted below. We were dressed as cowboys and I think we were the only ones to go that route as well.

The show was super fun! I took my ‘85 CJ hoping it would be in good company of trucks/suvs but they were few and far between. We were also the only 80s Cowboys at the show!

That sort of bummed me out. I brought my Jeep thinking there would be more of a showing of trucks and SUVs but it was almost all imports.

Depending on what you wanna bring, they tend to be cool with some 70s cars. RADwood LA had a ver sweet 70s chevy dually that was well received.
