A note here, when swapping vacuum lines be sure to get the reinforced line. I used cheap vacuum lines from Autozone on my jeep and they kept collapsing and causing me issues. I think it was down to the heat near the exhaust manifold. Reinforced line did not cost much more and solved all my issues.

Just like the Nova and the Corvair and what not.

OOO i love this game. I have thoughts:

A true survivor is an amazing thing. My old jeep is essentially unchanged (new carb) and Iwouldn’t trade it for the world.

The quality of both the video and audio are astonishing. We downgraded a lot moving to color.

I like this...

I know from my time in Chicago that if you bother showing up to your court day, you win. The judge didn’t even question me. She just asked how much it was, I was under whatever limit she or the city deemed doable, and I had a check in the mail 3 days later. It was absurdly easy. You know, after the whole illegally

I’m no structural engineer, though I do know a few. That giant sign sticking straight up off the beam without support at the top looks like a terrible terrible design. Its basically a sail.

Binky has ruined both build videos and my wallet.

Methinks they forgot to remind their photoshop guy this one wasnt glossy.

Same with the limited Wrangler. The extended wheelbase 2 door jeeps are not cheap. Womp Womp.

I’ve applied some craig-fu but can only find one listed in Ky for 17.5

As an owner of both over the years, the 4.2 is much smoother and more reliable. This being an ‘83 its only about 2 years off the worst year for power output. If you remove the emissions gear you can up this from 95ish HP to about 170HP. Put a proper modern carb on it and itll push around 200HP. These jeeps are light

Both are cheap to work on! You just have to do it a bunch.

Heartily agree. I have owned both a 304 and 258 and the 258 is much smoother, easier to work on, and generally more reliable. Its damn near unkillable to boot.

mmmmm tasty.

I hope to build an overland Isuzu Trooper someday and give it a Cold Snacks livery. The design is superb.

Not sure if you guys have access to it in your parts of the world, but Montucky Cold Snacks has become my go to beer. Its cheap, tasty, and they dontae 8% to charity!

I just took my CJ-7 on an 800 mile trip for Thanksgiving and I can relate to the wind noise. I bought a set of those acoustic earplugs for concerts on the way back ($15) and they were CLUTCH. I highly recommend. They still let in noise, just turns it all down like 15 decibels.

I started this in college with a flask, anytime I was at a party and there was just a little left in a bottle, i topped off my flask. Transitioned it over to a decanter a few years ago and its been glorious. I do recommend not mixing any Jamesons into the mix, as it overpowers everything (to my taste)
