They do have that. The Arena mode which is the more competitive mode with different gameplay mechanics that is more catered to pro or competitive players reduces the spawn rate of the mech to really low numbers. It’s in public matches that skilled players are being very vocal about their dislike of the mech.

That doesn’t matter, Epic wants the most number of players online and having a good time (and hopefully spending money on Battle Passes, etc) as possible. Why should they cater to the relatively few number of “good” players over the mediocre masses?
