Hmm...large format sensor? Yes please. Just make it mount to a standard back for an 8x10 (if there is one) and I am good to go.

@brbot: I don't see them doing it, by any means. At least not in the US.
@brbot: Your logic fails. If one of the two Sims is still AT&T, than they would still be your carrier. If the phone was unlocked, and running two sims doesn't mean it will be, to allow other networks, then you might still be required to carry the AT&T network, then also carry Sprint/Verizon. When your phone was not…
@pixelsnader: True. The only thing I can think is maybe microUSB has less throughput? Actually, do the different tips determine how much data can be sent? Or how many signals can be sent at the same time?
@pixelsnader: Good point. So not thicker, but overall, bigger.
Pretty sweet. The only thing that I might not like with this is how large it packs down. It is already a pain to pack my Marmot tent along with all my other gear on the bike. That said, doable, and might be worth it for a long journey.
@Jack Skitt: Pretty sure it is thinker than every other USB connection in my collection.
I know, how about getting rid of that huge hole at the bottom and replacing it with a smaller one? You know, that proprietary dock connector that serves no purpose other than to be different than every other smartphone on the market.
@Arken: I think you return it by shipping it to Garmin, not taking it to a store ;-)
@Squalor: Yep, saw taht after I stopped being lazy. At $149.99, it's not enough to make me choose it over an iPhone as of now. Really need to go use it to see how it compares. My 3G is really p***ing me off.
does this work if you are currently under contract and eligible for upgrade?
@lankysob: Awesome song. That was a great album. I'll have to see if I can find it again.
@frigg: I was more referring to the 120MP, since it is roughly the size of a 4x5 drum scan.
@thomasl2003: Hence my quality of the image may suffer since they crammed so much in there comment. I was roughly equating what this sensor relates to in film resolution to prove the point that it isn't beyond the realm of usefulness.
120MP should be around a drum scanned 4x5, so I could actually see this in use. It is probably larger, but not by too much, and most likely still smaller than 8x10 film. You could make some amazing prints with this. Although, the quality of the image may suffer since they crammed so much in there.
@ddhboy: Actually, I could see scientist being able to benefit from it.
@Flike: Big prints. *Evil Grin*
@ScottRose: Oh yeah, and if you see any of the morons doing that, don't get mad and escalate the situation. Take a chill pill, and relax. I say this because if you make certain people of that type mad, they will kick your car, punch your mirror, or if they are packing, pull out the gun. They do this, because they feel…
@Jesse Scroggins: Some argue it as a safety concern. I don't know if I agree with that though. Honestly, I should just wait in line like everyone else. And riding the clutch on my bike is a lot easier than riding it in a car.
@ScottRose: Bet you the bikers doing that would do the same thing if you gave them an M5. A lot of us that commute and have a strong distaste for that behavior don't commute in heavy traffic zones (i.e. NY, Chicago) because we find the risk too great.
