@SEDAGIVE?!: I have been thinking about the whole electric vehicle thing. It really only is viable if you can run the whole thing off either solar or wind power. So basically, you could use it as a commuter.

@Jrsy Devil's Advocate®: Why does it have to be humane?
If this is both as good as flash, but as fast as DRAM, could we seen an evolution in computing architecture? Imagine, if you will, a world where hard drives and RAM are the same thing. If you wanted more "RAM" for your system, you just partition off larger chunks of your drive to be used.
@S-Express has a pet troll: Nathan: Its not the wide so much as the distortion caused by the fish. With the 1.3 crop you aren't getting that outer edge so it just doesn't look the same. #canon1dmarkiv
@iomatic (I know I'm an idiot, but I'll comment anyway): @thetickler: Or for that matter, FPS if you need it for certain projects. You can't become a true artist without knowing the technical concerns of your medium. Its just like the arguments about what film was better. It is just, we don't have film to argue…
@thetickler: And I originally pointed out that their full frame isn't for the same market. Canon doesn't have a high-speed pro full frame for sports shooters. Which I have heard complaints and praises for this decision. #canon1dmarkiv
@thetickler: Oh, and I prefer my Lotus with a Toyota engine. #canon1dmarkiv
@thetickler: Nikon designed them, they don't manufacture them. Nikon has decided, since they didn't have a solid way of building chips on their own, to outsource to Sony for manufacture.
@S-Express has a pet troll: Nathan: I shoot ski and snowboard stuff like that all the time. Not really that uncommon. #canon1dmarkiv
@thetickler: I was just saying, since you brought up the 1DS, that it is in a different position in the marketplace than the 1D. The 1DS needs to be compared to a D3x and the 1D to the D3(s).
@thetickler: You don't know much about Nikon's do you? 1DS goes against the D3X, and the 1D against the D3. #canon1dmarkiv
@anuceprepree: If you are talking to me, there is logic to this. For the price of a D3s, I get the D300s and accessories a few lenses and some new studio lights.
@sydcinema: 720p is still beyond what you need for web usage. That is my point. If you just want a small web clip as supplement to your photos, which is what most of your local PJ guys will be doing, you don't even need 720P.
Just when I was sure I was going to buy a D300, they have to do this and make my choice harder....
@S-Express has a pet troll: Nathan: 5D and 7D are pro/prosumer cameras.
@sydcinema: Web syndication. I don't need 1080p for the web, which is where most PJ video will end up. End of story.
@zerofourtwo: Yeah, you know...because you couldn't manually focus a lens....
