As a consumer, I hope that this policy, coupled with Ford’s statements about trying to migrate more purchases to being special orders (and incentivizing those that do) make the sales process at their dealerships at least marginally more pleasant.
I think i found an issue with your math. Aren’t F-350s almost exclusively diesel?
I’ll go opposite ends of the spectrum, with the caveat that I also have 3 kids:
Think back to high school. Remember the kid who was really smart, but never did any homework or studied for a test? They averaged high Cs, low Bs. Everyone – especially the teachers – knew they could do better, if only they tried. They finally buckled down, earned a great SAT score, and got into a good collage.
Yeah, but you really can’t put a monetary value on the Jeep Wave and rubber ducks, so your point is actually invalid.
Good god the waitlists on these are going to be insane.

As a Minnesotan, their location says everything. Quite possibly one of the most affluent suburbs/areas of the Twin Cities. $20k is regularly funny money in that neck of the woods.
I should have added another Minnesota special. The Minnesota Roadblock, where cars in neighboring lanes will match one another, typically 5-10 MPH below the speed limit. It is quite literally, the woooooooooooooooorst!
Kudos to the Haas team for acting so quickly.
Carbon neutral or not, tell me more about that fastback with the suicide doors.
Here’s one that may be the top of the worst list. Changing the headlights in a 2012-era Ford Fusion. Here’s why it’s bad, the driver’s side light requires lightly more contortion to get at the cap for the light enclosure after removing part of the air intake. No big deal. Passenger side? Well you can go fuck yourself,…
