@sdotbailey2: I think part of the point is that Google also strips out the branding as well as being minimalist. Apple products still try to draw attention to themselves, while this is completely brandless, it's not about the person selling it to you.

@blyan is nominal too?: Because the average Dell, Toshiba, Sony or HP laptops have glowing logos.

@sdotbailey2: They also have that big glowing apple on the back, which is pretty obnoxious branding if you think of it.

@tekufah98: As ironic as Raaayyyyyyaaaaaaayyyyyiiiiiiin... on your wedding day.

@dcleblond: If you're offended by the term Mactard, you probably are one.

Rumors of Jeep getting a 4x4 Panda make me want a 4x4 Panda. Seems pretty much perfect for the driving I have to do.

@cycle-ops: If you met him while growing up in England, yes.

@Kangaru: Given how well it seems to be put together, you'll be walking a lot anyway.

Reach for the stars GM, although they look pretty far.

@cycle-ops: Well, apparently he "knows a guy" at Foxconn, which is in China, so it's entirely possible that he was born and raised in China but recently moved to the US.

Regarding the "unrealistic" flipping, similar flipping happened in reality once. Obviously, GT5 damage isn't remotely close to real world, but it's unfair to criticize a crash for being as flippy as a real life crash. Unless there's a bug in the physics of real life.

I've actually been unable to replicate the AI video in GT5, so I suspect the cheat is strong with that one.

@jomac006: Next thing you know you'll be saying that the rest of Michael Bay's oeuvre is lacking in verisimilitude.

@patman: And what should be known as the "subtle penis".

@AMGkiller: It's as much about the concept as the execution. This was the first hardtop convertible. As it was the first, and it was before the ability to make the extremely complicated tops we have today, it executed the concept with a lack of finesse. But it was still a fascinating idea which could draw a crowd, and

@AMGkiller: A 3-cyl doesn't give a huge advantage, mileage wise, over a well designed four. The CRX HF was always right there with the Metro XFi in the mileage race (41 city/50 hwy to 43/52), and the early '90s Civic VX could get quite close in spite of being significantly fatter (39/49), and in fact does better than

@AMGkiller: Ahead of its time also sometimes means it is before people figured out how to make it functional.

Au contraire, if the reaction was different in any way I'd be scared, because then I'd wonder what the hell was going on and just how behind the radar it was. The very public and very obvious overreaction is exactly what I'd expect from governments and it's strangely comforting to see them behaving in a completely
