My dad had one of these when I was a kid. LOVED the dash. For the 80's it was about as cool as it could get. Don’t know why they got rid of the dash in the later models.

I have never, ever heard that engine braking (or coasting in gear) is bad for any car. Who are you talking to that thinks that it is? Are you sure it’s engine braking that’s the question, or is it downshifting? On a manual, I rarely downshift because over time it’s extra wear on the clutch, transmission and the shift…

I know it’s subjective,but TBH,I think the Maser looks better than the Ferrari. Why can’t modern cars employ this level of style and grace,instead of being soulless blobs?
