Myself included but I tend to get sucked into bad shows and feel like I’ve wasted a bunch of time hoping it’ll get better. And yet, I’ve stuck with shows in the past that people deemed bad/boring/slow like Boardwalk Empire and felt smugly satisfied with myself that I stuck it out and was rewarded at the end!

Is this really a show worth watching? I watched the pilot and it was a struggle. My new year’s resolution is to bail on shows quicker but try more shows, especially shows I might not think I’d be interested in...but, this seems like a show I’d like and it did nothing for me.

I agree with everything you said until you said our government should be funding this....nooooo. Keep the government out. They’ll just screw it up, spend more money and waste more money. Why are private companies inherently bad? And yes, I want FedEx to take over the post office so that’s where I’m coming from...

I ran XC in high school and although I ran on some pretty challenging courses, it’s NOTHING compared to XC skiing. I don’t understand why they do it actually. It doesn’t seem fun. At all. If I have to skate my snowboard through a lift line, I’m huffin’ on the lift up.
