Well, I've explained my ideas for a possible game that links console and handheld but it really is up to Game Freak in terms of what they want to do.

Still, Game Freak won't go for it because Pokemon isn't exactly suited for consoles - it's a franchise that's meant to be on-the-go as you trade and battle with others on the fly.

So long as Nintendo continues putting care into the series, I highly doubt that.
