They have promoted StreetPass groups in the past.
The New Super Mario Bros. series has played it rather safe, though I really think that NSMBU is the only one that gets it right with really good level design and having something for casuals and veterans alike.
I wasn't implying that every single one had to be of AAA-quality, nor did I make the claim that because people like the game, it's automatically great and so on.
She was my last main for Brawl - looking forward to her antics in this game, and hopefully Smash 4 as well.

Also, Nintendo doesn't count when talking about Japanese developers being successful or relevant in the videogame industry for some reason.
