Those game wardens deserve to be vilified. They showed a complete lack of empathy, shooting the animal in front of a family member. There were absolutely better ways to handle that situation, regardless of if they were within their legal authority to do what they did.

The deer is the big loser in this, and the game wardens who will now be vilified.
