@djsmiley2k: I am not trying to be rude but where are you from? Your story is difficult to read in many parts.

@Alpine Joe: I love that book and I really should read it again. It seems like some easy common-sense advice (he gives in the book) but how many people actually practice it?

Surprised how many people don't know how they are made. Don't you guys ever wonder? Or do you think a fairy delivers it?

Great tips especially since the weather is still cold. My favorite non-homemade hot chocolate has to be the Cocoa Trio from Seattle's Best. The strange thing though, is that out of 10 times ordering it, they mess it up at least half the time. I don't understand how there is so much variation from store to store,

The coolest part about this article is learning about the Engineer Guy. He is very articulate and a great speaker, skills you rarely find in an engineer. Subscribed!

@mmac1: I read it (incorrectly) as "If I do *stay* in a hotel, I feel icky"

@Eric Cholis: You added this even without modifying the name on the Google settings page? Reason I ask is if I try to enter google._domainkey.mydomain.com, google won't accept it.

@LordieLordie: I think you know. On the popup at the bottom right, you put google._domainkey in the Name section and the long code in the text data section.

@hostile-17: This is confusing. It seems from the responses that people don't use soap because they believe it's not necessary to stay clean. Yet you say you feel yucky after not using it. So do you actually disagree and believe that soap is needed to stay clean but simply don't use it because of your skin conditions?

@epikfail: I am pretty sure whatever interest he did hold has long been sold to pay for the massive debt he incurred while living.

@RaindropBebop: This is a GPS device. It's not a telephony device. Please read the article again.

@felipiwi: Wow this is a really cool video and his technique is different than all the others I've seen. Thanks for sharing.

Dyson recently discontinued their handheld vac because consumers soon realized to maintain all that suction power, you'd need a really huge battery. If you wanted to make it portable, like Dyson did, you would have to sacrifice runtime. I think people were getting about 6 minutes per charge. Now they added an

This is a great idea but the price ($300) doesn't make any sense. You are paying a premium for the smaller footprint which means it'll be able to get around small spaces (ie between your toilet and tub) but other than that, the other Scooba models are a better buy.

With AnyDVD on sale for just a few more hours, I want to pick up a copy. But at $60 a year, it's not cheap (like the article says). Can anyone explains how it differs from DVD Decrypter, which despite being 5 years old, still is able to rip any SD DVD I give it? I understand Any DVD's appeal is it rapidly comes out

@ProsumeThis: Yes it doesn't make the list. We are talking about high end Point and Shoots. What's next? Want to recommend the Canon Elph?

@916CALLTURK: This is not what he meant and you know it.

@quillaja: Thanks for clearing things up quillaja. Whew. I will keep waiting for G3.

I thought G3 was supposed to bring, yes, smaller die sizes and more efficiency, but more importantly, translate these improvements into cheaper and larger SSD's for desktops and laptops. Instead it's being made into a new connector (do we really need a new one?) and formfactor (embedded/"on board"). WTF? This is great

It's surprising how many people or cities bury time capsules yet never take the time to find a proper container. Then when they pull them out, they are saddened to find all the paper has rotted and all the metal pieces have rusted.
