It's best to thaw meat (if it's in a sealed bag) in a bowl, under slowly running cold water.

Wow this is really amazing. It's cool that Garmin is really stepping up the geocaching game

At the risk of bringing some seriousness into this, I hope they cleaned up all that toilet paper from the park.

Ok so Square Trade wins but what I want to hear is some first-person feedback on anyone who has actually filed a claim under Square Trade. How did it turn out? is it as painless as the author suggests?

@jcollierdavis: Thanks for posting that. This is very helpful.

How can a modern helicopter only cost $10M?

@freedomweasel: A copy of a legit ID is not the same as a fake ID. I hope you understand that.

I really enjoyed the video review. I thought it showed all the new features of the new software and narration was casual but easy to hear and actually pretty informative.

While it's more expensive, I would recommend using duck fat instead of olive oil. It is quite expensive if you do it the traditional way of placing the duck legs in a dutch oven and covering it in fat. You might need 2-3 containers to be able to pull this off.

I haven't been keeping up with chipsets but I thought the Tegra 2 was all the rage because it had true graphics acceleration. Anytime I hear onboard Intel, I think of integrated/shared graphics and that's supposed to be bad. But apparently, these new Atoms are good? Yes?

@blantow: I am not trying to be negative, but I think that this might be a case of people trying to be dramatic after the fact. I doubt so "many" people smelled gas and complained and the gas company just did nothing. It is too sensational.

Now to figure out a clever way to activate this on the phone only when my Macbook is running. Otherwise, it's off.

What I'd love is a good stable site with Android wallpapers. I am stuck with the default ones since I've never found a good repository. Many [sites] seem kind of clobbered together and have a dozen wallpapers only.

Oh man this is awesome!

Discussing watches on Gizmodo is like discussing fine art on a import tuner message board. Not saying the worlds never overlap but based on the comments below, most people here wear or care about watches. Their iPhones do all the time telling they need. And even the ones that do decide to wear timepieces, clearly do
