magdelane - How exactly do you put a bit of vinegar in your rinse water? Unless you are talking about filling up a sink of water and washing dishes that way, rather than using moving water.

If you use album gain, as suggested, wouldn't it get confused when it hit the tracks with the very low volume soft spots? I understand how this would be any better than track gain.
