I’m late to the party, but I have to say, I read this as artisanal bookkeeping and just...I could not figure out what that might be.

Greyhound abandoned me in a snowstorm and amtrak kept trucking. To make up for this Greyhound tried to rebook me through a connection that would have had me waiting for three hours at like 2am outside of a station that closes down in a New England winter. Also when you cross the US canadian border greyhound makes you…
Ageism is great right?!
I think it is high in iron? And you might have lost blood... Something like that.
That’s Neal “the dude” Unger. He learned how to skateboard in his 50’s as a form of meditation and rides for next up foundation—a grassroots nonprofit helping build up kids through skateboarding and action sports like it.
I love the video with this 60 year old skateboarder. He just seems like he just still likes it.
Bee keeping in cities is actually really good for pollination. A city near me actually gives bee hives away for free because it helps the environment.
Better keep those bees away from the placenta hoarding Park Slope yummy mummies. I’ve heard a bee will cut a bitch for one. Or was it a wasp?
Hasn't artisanal beekeeping been a thing for years? Or maybe hipsters in this area did it first.
Yeah, with that explanation, this story makes so much more sense. Somehow, “mommy was drunk and gave birth in the woods and got stung by bees and started a fire” is not quite as heroic as this story wants us to believe.
Oh dear. Yes, the alleged bees now seem like the least of her worries.
This news story included statements from Pangborn’s mother that she had problems with alcoholism and previously had 3 children removed from her custody. That might explain a whole bunch that doesn’t make sense about this story.
Can’t help but wonder if she was under the influence and didn’t want to be tested at the nearby hospital (some hospitals do drugs screens on mothers in labor and report results to protective services). I also find the whole “I’m going to go to casinos to try to induce labor” a questionable decision, but then again…
who is out of gas after a few miles when you’re getting ready for labor? who doesn’t go to the hospital when in labor? who doesn’t have anyone looking for her after three days when the woman is close to giving birth? just... weirdness.
I’m so glad she survived. But....
How does giving birth magically forgive a FOREST FIRE?!??
I don’t think bees would, but wasps (and I think yellow jackets) do eat meat. So they might. And they’re worse than bees.
ETA: also I don’t really know what a placenta is made of because reasons, but I think the blood might attract them or something?
This whole thing seems kind of weird. Like why did she leave the road? She has to have turned onto a road for her shortcut, why didn’t she follow it back to a more commonly traveled road and flag down a car? After birthing the baby, I suppose.
Bees would want a placenta? That...doesn’t sound right.
