I still want to live in an alternate universe where Burt is John McClane. Goddamn, that would be wonderful.

Even as a shitty 9 year-old kid, I just couldn't get over the fact that Michael Douglas would cheat on Anne Archer with Glenn Close.
I get what you mean, but I do think he's mega-talented, and could catapulted to the next level. He just needs a good director to get him there. "Hell or High Water" was excellent, and a step in the right direction.
With all due respect to Gene and Rog (and yourself, of course), you got that backwards — Ebert usually got it wrong. And what more proof do you need than that the man didn't like "Die Hard?"
He had 50 bucks on that game!

If you were to tell me when I woke up this morning, that I'd be upvoting a comment about "American Anthem," I'd probably say, "Yeah, that sounds about right."
Also, just wanted to make mention that in "Blind Date" - Willis' movie before "Die Hard" - there's a scene that takes place in an office, and outside the window, you can see Fox Plaza (aka Nakatomi Towers) under construction. So, yeah, if you haven't figured it out by now, "Blind Date" IS a prequel to "Die Hard."
You know what's also weird? In "Blind Date," Willis' film right before "Die Hard," there's a shot that takes place in someone's office, and outside the window you can see Fox Plaza (aka Nakatomi Towers) under construction.
STREET FIGHTER. YOU LEFT OUT STREET FIGHTER.
Even as a 10 year-old, I thought it was weird that the funny guy from "Moonlighting" and "Blind Date" was in an action movie. It's obviously commonplace now to think of Willis solely as an action star, but that type of out-of-the-box casting is what's missing these days. If this movie were be made today, the…
So you're saying we CAN expect a sequel to "Destiny Turns On the Radio?!" YES!!!
Who?
Remember how excited you were with the season five finale, imagining all the possibilities for season six — from setting the show in China to Jack breaking out of prison, then on the run "Fugitive"-style? Remember?? REMEMBER?!?
I thought it was super!
That's all true. He has an eye for talent. Unfortunately, that eye, from time-to-time, turns in on itself.
Paging Brett Ratner!
I'd be okay with "Full Tilt Boogie: The Series" about the making of "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series."
So sad. I always felt so bad for this guy. Even in lighthearted comedies, he was made to be the bad guy. In "One Fine Day," we're supposed to be upset that his drummer-single dad character would rather go on tour with Springsteen than take his stupid six year-old kid fishing. That kid was an annoying little fuck.
