I have both highway and in-town stop-and-go so will probably consider a used hybrid. That seems to be the best target for fuel efficiency. Everything else is Greek to me. I was very tempted by electric vehicles, but since I’m in Florida I’m concerned about the heat and the effect on the battery.

It does look like it. And it does appear very clean - but given it’s probably been in dude’s garage in an endless upcycle attempt, I’d expect it to be pretty clean. 

Really? I am seeing good reviews from car folks (elsewhere). But I can see where hesitation - even slight - in acceleration would annoy me. So... I’m facing a learning curve since I’d prefer not to buy another straight up ICE.

My thought exactly. I DID THIS! Lol. Age did it - and the way I drive. Upper seal on the engine looks a bit moist as does the transmission. Perfectly running, shifting and not overheating, so with babying I probably have some time. But I don’t like ANYTHING that I can afford.
