The way they sent out ballots and asked everyone to pick a top 10 with weighted order surely affected both the order and value of titled names. You only need a couple people really pushing rez hard to get it past a dozen people with 10th place as super smash

How they got their rankings is pretty wild because its a system where they sent out 300 ballots with 10 slots. First gets 10 votes through 10th gets 1 on each ballot.

Oh to say the full list has anything but great games would be a lie, and lttp if anything deserves to be higher.

One of the funnier ones is modern warfare (71) getting bested by goldeneye (65) only to get name dropped in half life’s (52) blurb saying that goldeneye is best left to the ravages of time 

The latter half of that game really forgets to reward players with anything meaningful. Weapons and rewards get no stronger and enemies only get spongier as the background math goes up.
