That crash image really isn’t helping me think that this game is gonna be anything more than the next 85% effort Forza entry.

Ill go to bat for speed racer 2008. It was just an honest, fun time. It was just a flashy, bombastic silly movie and honest thats all i wanted from my speed racer.

I remember right out of college when student loan payments were encroaching and the job market not relenting enough to get a job I took a minimum wage job and had to literally do the math to see how much money I would be losing in the month by going to work when gas prices spiked back then.

I think your source somehow missed the top 4 in all star voting right now. I haven’t seen a fully entry list but those four specifically fell out.

I’d like to say my family has loyalty, but it’s more that my family has streaks with certain brands.

I know that feeling too bad from others. You save the ones you can but you can’t save them all. 190E 2.3-16, RX7 FD, G Class mercedes with a manual, C36 and E63. I was literally a check away from being able to get them all before the prices exploded and it just couldn’t work out.

You don’t know how many times that statement has come up with that car. Only reason I got it was my used parts guy was going to someone’s farm to buy a trailer load of cars to part out. It was literally out to pasture. Had I not stepped up it would have been fleeced and crushed.

There’s a lot of things that I will give credit about with my 3rd gen nano. It was small enough to fit in the aging german center console. Normally reserved for pens and toll change. The premium metal feel really was good to the touch, elevated above the ocean of squeaky plastic junk that filled the isles of stores.

In order of most driveable to least.

Has anything good ever been said about a Maserati Biturbo? Any of them that made it out of the 80's rust were immediately underpowered and a pain to work on if only because of the number of changes that happened seemingly at random.

I can’t imagine being someone who buys a car and doesn’t want to put miles on it because number go up.

Alternatively, you could spend the same amount on this weird bird painted by Picasso.

Growing up with an old Mercedes diesel in the family, I kept a quarter of oil in my trunk at all times waay longer than I was driving a car that required it.

Unrelated but I really like that Gragson scheme. I’ve no problem with the forward numbers, guys were doing that in local divisions for ages, but what the top series is struggling with is making it so that the sponsor and the number fight over what’s the dominant font. This one really gives each it’s own space.

It’s a real shame that you don’t see stock cars in many games, you’d think it’d be pretty simple to just put some badgeless blob in there and leave it there for a spec series, maybe go as far as allowing tire changes right to left.

Any Mercedes of the late 80's through today. There’s a reason that they went so big into automatics. You want that mechanical connection, the driving engagement, but at best you pair it to something buzzy like one of the cosworths and you get a high strung, torqueless motor with a box that is anything but precise.

I got a really bad taste of the invitations right off the bat when I splurged to get a Pagani Huayra when my invitation showed up only to complete the cafe mode a couple days later and get another one dropped in my lap.

What you really want is already scheduled for July 7th through the 10th.

This is possibly the most damning thing comparing GT7's spirit to the GT of yesterday.

Aside from the always online single player, the only excuse for that is blind monitization.
