I hate Rewind because whenever I see someone say they hate it I can’t tell if they have legit complaints about Youtube ignoring all the harmful contents until it’s too late and then punishing innocent creators when they finally do something, or terrible people upset that Youtube did not celebrate problematic creators

Most people I saw were just really worried that Kumail is overdoing it since a lot of recent pictures makes him look jacked in a very unhealthy way.

Skyfall might not be perfect but I think a lot of the complaints about it might come from the same people who thinks watching MCU films as praxis.

It would be pretty wild if the Ayer Cut (if it ever happens) does better on Max and home video than the Gunn movie seeing as how the 2016 movie did very well financially. But that remains to be seen since The Suicide Squad is in theory a more polished version of the butchered version of Ayer’s movie.

Yeah, he’s a Philly institution.

The movie created its own unique reasons for Venom to exist and the elements unique to the movie ended up being what made it appealing to most of its fans.

Which of course makes it problematic since it can make Bond a dangerously unironic celebration of the colonial British mindset. This is why Skyfall is often cited as a good modern Bond; it’s the one that came closest to admitting that Bond is a tool of a dead empire desperately grasping for relevance.

Well that’s insane since Skyfall is often referred to as an example of a good Bond movie.

Never said it’s for comic book fans. People love the 2018 Venom for being its own unique take on the character, not because it’s like the comics. Even then, it did touch upon things in the comics even a lot of comic book readers overlook like the relationship between Eddy and the symbiote so a portion of the people

Centrist cowards

I love how you think it’s an incel movie while the anti-incel people love it for being an unashamedly queer movie. This includes Tom Hardy himself who wrote in a “Venom coming out scene” and of course various people both in and outside the production call this a love story.

It’s also a case of it being a sequel to one of 2018's biggest box office hit.

There are monsters that make people who see them commit suicide. So the characters have to cover their eyes for most of the movie. The movie never show you these monsters. It’s based on a book. That’s about it.

Do they pretend that? As far as I know, Netflix’s main reputation is that they throw around money like crazy on their star productions.

Idiocracy is better than real life because the idiots in Idiocracy never pretend they’re smart and they don’t manipulate words by scientists and philosophers to make people think they’re smart. People like Ben Shapiro and Jordan Peterson are the faces of real life Idiocracy, not wrestlers and energy drink

That’s some good karma right there.

It’s amazing how Jonathan acts confused at this cosmic revelation about his only child, who he just heard someone equate to Jesus, and didn’t know what to say, and then Clark later making his own decision and trying his best not to let people die despite facing a superior opponent.

Congratulations on inventing an entirely new understanding of cinema that will make everyone call Roger Ebert stupid and Stanley Kubrick a hack.

Then again, his name is Gomez and was played by Raul Julia.

Notaro can probably play Mr Rogers. Her hair is almost the right shape and she has a very friendly smile.
