He’s not a mental health professional. He’s not trained to deescalate situations like this. He was just some guy in a scary situation, probably just desperately trying to avoid his kids getting hurt.

This is pure speculation, but I wonder if some of what fueled the fire was the fact that the daughter was getting married. I’ve known plenty narcissists unable to cope when a child marries. They can’t handle it not being all about them.

I feel no remorse for a man who ran to a neighbor’s house while his wife shot, reloaded and killed his two daughters. And his Twitter account is a horror show.

Meh. Saying something ugly and regrettable in the heat of the moment kind of pales in comparison to murdering your children.

Yes, we can apply it to a lot of things. “Everyone is a responsible banana eater until suddenly they aren’t.”

Everyone is a responsible gun owner until, you know, suddenly they aren’t.

This is the thing: the NRA members, the gun rights activists, never seem to understand that they’re only a good guy with a gun until they’re a bad guy with a gun. YES, YES, WE WANT TO TAKE YOUR GUNS AWAY, BECAUSE YOU MIGHT USE THEM TO KILL PEOPLE, YOUNG CHILDREN, MEMBERS OF YOUR FAMILY, LAW ENFORCEMENT, WHOEVER.

Wow, almost 2 whole hours devoted to 2 games. Why even bothering doing E3?

We also monitor internet comments. Expect a visit from HR very soon.

My kids will love this! They’ll be old enough to play by the time this comes out!
It’s gonna be a while, though.
I don’t even have kids yet.
Zelda games take forever.
*sigh*

I think it’s the animations.

Hey it’s are old buddy Gorignak. Have’t seen him since Galaxy Quest

There’s a whole lot to like here, but I couldn’t help but feel everything just felt a bit empty. It’s a trailer and there were a host of gameplay systems that they wanted to tease — crafting, forest fires, climbing, etc. — but perhaps because of that grandness of the scale, it felt like something was missing.

Such a boring show this year. I miss Iwata-san :(

At Nintendo, we’re committed to making a simpler-looking Sykrim, 5 years after Skyrim came out.

Upgrading to windows 10 isn’t for me. It’s for you. I’m not a software developer. I don’t care that you want me to be on Windows 10. I want to be on Windows 8.1. Why? Because for the week that I used Windows 10, I found it to be the most unstable OS I’ve used since Windows ME. A week’s worth of googling revealed that

Yeah sorry but I don’t care. There is a case to be made about that for XP, but 7 is far too recent, I’m not going to support any practice that involve OSes being too old at 7.

actually not. sure you can be careful and make sure all your setting prevent it...but, if you got a internet connection, it sometimes actively changes your settings in a attempt to force the update. heck some regular updates actively seek out and disable any programs you have to prevent windows 10 from installing.

I’ve spent the last three minutes trying to come up with a name for this cocktail. Slumbernet sauvignon? Chardonnap?
