This is a false equivalence. Many - maybe even a majority of - women dislike Trump because Trump has made clear that he does not respect women and by and large falls on the “wrong” side of women’s issues. That is not the same as asking apropos of nothing what the majority of Asians think of Trump. The framing matters.

I really and truly do not understand the obsession over edges. Someone please explain to me how this is an actual thing other black women care so much about. If you’re slicking down your hair and you have kinky edges because your hair is kinky, who the f*ck cares???

Important to note that twists/braids serve purposes other than a styling tool. For example, I place my hair in twists when detangling (i.e., to keep detangled hair separate from to-be-detangled hair). I take the twists out after getting dressed; they are only in for 15 minutes or so. I do sleep wearing a silk scarf…

Here’s the problem with your theory; she is not a “basic tourist.” Rich people have nice things and they travel with them just like you have not nice things and you travel with them. Why should she pretend to be a pauper when travelling? None of what you are saying makes sense.

I’m not sure I see your point. You can have “compassion” for someone’s plight while still believing that if they were only strong enough, they would be able to endure it. These are not mutually exclusive concepts.
