Great article, I adore my PS2 and camped out to get one on release day with 3 friends. That memory alone, along with a phenomenal collection of games that I'm not sure can ever be beat makes the PS2 a system worthy of the praise you give it. And I am also proud to say that I, even though I have a 60 gig backward…

Side note, is there going to be some sort of a Kotaku gathering for Battlefield anytime?

This has probably been answered a billion times, but is it possible, or what are the problems, with the idea of installing Linux on a PS3 and then being able to use all of the aforementioned programs from a USB hard drive through Linux, rather than having to buy an HTPC?

@Keepin It Hamsta: Thanks a bunch for that info, I really appreciate the time you took to write that. I feel the same way about MW2. Overall I wasn't super impressed, especially by the Multiplayer. And so I'm hoping something like MAG may be able to make that up for me.

So if someone were to compare MAG (have not played) to Bad Company 2 (have Beta right now) and MW2 (beat the game).

Just got it. I think it is surprising what this game can do for friendly co-op gaming. (not competitive like online MP). It is actually quite fun. I'm impressed that this kind of gaming holds up so well, and the difficulty level makes it all the more satisfactory. #newsupermariobroswii

I thought the app was pretty good, until I started reading that it was having huge problems with some users by running constantly in the background and taking up crucial memory. I say crucial especially for those on the G1. I checked it out, and sure enough, it seems to be true that this app never truly closes down.…
